Defining disagreement as: the failure to agree, a difference of opinion, an argument caused by people having different opinions about something, and the state of being different or unalike; Işıl Eğrikavuk poses the questions:

Is it possible to accept disagreement and civilize it? Can one find negative capability in a conflict and benefit from it? Or is disagreement equal to rage and chaos?

The performance introduces a line of individuals who greet visitors and frame the first floor of SALT Galata as a space of negotiation. Their gestures and spoken lines are scripted by the artist, who has taken inspiration from the confrontations photographed in the Turkish Parliament and dialogue sourced from the Constitution Conciliation Committee's archival records. A series of moments of potential agreement or disagreement will unfold, during which visitors are asked to consider where the answers to the above questions lie.

The performance will be conducted in Turkish.
