The e-publication Turkey-Russia: Two Periods of Rapprochement expands on the themes of artistic and cultural exchange between the two countries at the beginning and end of the 20th century. Following the conference with the same title, which was organized by SALT in March 2019, the collected work provides a detailed account of historical changes, political developments and collaborations as well as diverse experiences of modernization and practices in identity building, exemplified in the relations of the two countries.

Turkey-Russia: Two Periods of Rapprochement is published by SALT as part of L'Internationale's Our Many Europes project (2019-2022), with contributions from historians, curators and artists.
