His cinema career in gradual demise, a bourgeois intellect becomes involved in his house cleaner's life when he learns that she's been beaten and cheated on by her husband. Rebelling against these wrongdoings, he is confronted with harsh social realities in the most unexpected of places, all while attempting to assist her. Camdan Kalp [A Heart of Glass] (1990) won the award for "Best Turkish Film" at the 10th International Istanbul Film Festival.
