Workshop IV
Artists Aslı Uludağ, Merve Mepa, and Ali Taptık will present their works supported as part of the first edition of the Salt Artistic Research and Production Grant Program. The artists will discuss the conceptual focus of their installations and the methodologies they employed throughout the research and production process.

Hydro-Geothermal Bodies, an outcome of her ongoing research since 2019, Aslı Uludağ delves into the development of geothermal energy in Aydın, Manisa, and Denizli. In
Meshwork, Merve Mepa builds a multifaceted structure that reflects the entanglement of evolving systems, from ancient weaving practices to the complex infrastructures of modern technologies. Ongoing since 2012, Ali Taptık's
Osmanbey: Social and Spatial Entanglements explores the interplay between commerce, urban transformation, and the intricate social fabric of a central Istanbul district.
The free-admission program will take place on Tuesday, June 10 at 18.00 in Workshop IV at Salt Galata. The presentations will be held in Turkish.
